My teaching is influenced by my research. In my dissertation I develop an account of shared inquiry which emphasizes the importance of cooperation, flexibility, and transparency. My aim as a teacher is to facilitate shared inquiry. I've had the opportunity to do so across varied pedagogical experiences: as primary instructor, teaching assistant, and co-founder of the Directed Reading Program at Stanford University, as well as teaching assistant and tutor at Brandeis University. My approach to teaching, student feedback, and some sample syllabi can be found here.
